The Strip beckons as you first see The Eiffel Tower, Lady Liberty, the Grand Canal at the Venetian, the gold lions of the MGM Grand and the castles of Excalibur. The light beams from the top of the Luxor, lighting your way and Caesar’s Palace calls. Las Vegas is the place for Instagrams, and this is the place to capture the shot of a lifetime for all the world to see.
The Las Vegas Strip

Where can you be cosmopolitan without leaving the U.S.A.? The Las Vegas Strip is one of the most popular sites for Instagrams in the city! Take a photo near Paris and have the Eiffel Tower as your backdrop. Visit all the lions at the MGM Grand and pose beside the gold at sunset for a stunning shot. Visit New York New York and take any number of memorable shots inside or out – even at the arcade! Or go Roman at Caesar’s Palace and take selfies with the statues in the lobby. See the world when you look at the dazzling lights in the early evening or during the late nights and you will have one of the most iconic photos you could desire (and don’t forget Excalibur for that medieval pic or the pyramid of The Luxor).

The Bellagio Fountains (And Conservatory & Botanical Gardens)
3600 S Las Vegas Blvd
Las Vegas, NV 89109

The Bellagio Casino is one of the most beautiful places in all of Vegas. The lobby is stunning with its colors, and what appears to be upside-down umbrellas. If you visit during the holiday seasons it can literally take your breath away. But few places are more Instagram-worthy than the Fountains outside that shimmer with lights and move to the choreographed music. The Conservatory & Botanical Gardens are also stunning: the brilliant seasonal colors and variety of plants, fountains or waterfalls and pathways are the perfect place to capture a dream garden in the desert. Who would have thought it!

Arrivals and departures are always captured in the moment, but there are more photos taken of travelers arriving in Las Vegas than anywhere else in town! Step into the huge terminal and get your first chance at the slots or visit some of the wonderful shops that welcome you to town. From the trams to thousands of tourists to the moving advertisements and the noise and raucous confusion, this says “Vegas” like nowhere else…except, perhaps the Welcome to Vegas sign, which is pretty much a given for any tourist!

The Venetian
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd
Las Vegas, NV 89109
(702) 414-1000

The Venetian has an “old world” style and grace that somehow manages to merge perfectly with the 21st century. You can stand outside or inside and look down on the grand canal and gondolas for some wonderful photos, or better yet, get aboard a gondola for a lazy serenaded ride along the canal, taking selfies and shots of yourself, your gondolier and the surroundings as you travel. You can even take photos from the restaurant overlooking the canal for some memorable moments. When Venice meets Vegas, magic happens.

Red Rock Canyon
1000 Scenic Loop Dr
Las Vegas, NV 89161
(702) 515-5367
www.redrockcanyonlv.org

Close enough to the Strip to be convenient yet miles away in atmosphere, Red Rock Canyon is one of the most popular, scenic places to visit. If you get there at sunset or sunrise, the light cast upon the rocks gives them an otherworldly reddish glow that makes it a must-have photograph to share with all the folks at home. The hiking is legendary – as are the bighorn sheep who patrol the rocks – and the conservation area’s attempts to preserve desert landscape and nature in the raw is admirable. You can camp, hike, picnic and commune with nature while you are here – all about half an hour from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas.
