Phone number: n/a
Hours of operation: Sun-Thurs 11a-11p; Fri-Sat 11a-midnight
Reason why place is best of: 10,000 square feet is dedicated to arcade’s favorite machine, the pinball, where the entire family can enjoy non-violent arcade games for small dinero. All machines are available for play, so not only can you see them, you can actually re-live your old favorites. The games range from 1950s up to 2000s pinball machines. It’s all pure pinball (and a few arcade novelty games) from the past. Where else can baby boomers enjoy the hottest pinball machines from the 60s and 70s, while gen x’ers face the challenge of Ms. Pac-Man or Donkey Kong Jr.?
The Pinball Hall of Fame is an attempt by the members of the Las Vegas Pinball Collectors Club to house and display the world’s largest pinball collection, while being open to the public. A not-for-profit corporation was established to further this cause. And since it’s a non-profit, excess revenues go to non-denominational charities, including the Las Vegas branch of the Salvation Army.
