Injury Report: Green’s Status Key To Bengals’ Chances On Sunday Against Colts

Arguably the Cincinnati Bengals’ best player, wide receiver A.J. Green is iffy for Sunday’s playoff game in Indianapolis against the Colts. He didn’t practice on Friday and hasn’t cleared the league’s concussion protocol after suffering the injury in Week 17 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. If Green can’t go, the pressure might double for the Bengals to win their first postseason contest since 1990.

Since then, the Bengals have lost all five postseason contests they’ve played in. That needs to change this weekend.

Raiders Offense Needs To Stay Wide Open Going Forward In 2014

In Week Six, the Oakland Raiders’ offense set season-high marks in total yards, passing yards and rushing yards. If this is Interim Head Coach Tony Sparano’s plan for staying competitive with a bad defense, it’s not necessarily a bad plan. Rookie quarterback Derek Carr had his best game of the year against San Diego, and the sky is the limit for the youngster going forward this 2014 season.

Thursday Night Football Breakdown: Indianapolis Colts At Houston Texans

Could this be it-the first competitive Thursday night game of the 2014 NFL season? The Colts visit Houston as just a three-point favorite, and both teams are 3-2, so at the risk of being the Mary Swanson to your Lloyd Christmas, I’m saying there’s a chance.
