Drifter Fred Steese was convicted in 1994 for a murder he did not commit and spent 18 years in a Nevada prison. Steese was alleged to have murdered Gerard Soules, a trapeze artist-turned-poodle trainer, who was killed at a trailer park near Blue Diamond Rd. in 1992.
