Heidi Harris: Innocent Man Set Free After 18 Years

Drifter Fred Steese was convicted in 1994 for a murder he did not commit and spent 18 years in a Nevada prison. Steese was alleged to have murdered Gerard Soules, a trapeze artist-turned-poodle trainer, who was killed at a trailer park near Blue Diamond Rd. in 1992.

Heidi interviews Megan Rose who writes about the wrongly convicted prisoner in Vanity Fair and how politics may have played a role in the conviction.  You can read Megan’s Vanity Fair article HERE.
