LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Las Vegas airport saw more than 4.1 million passengers in July, marking another month of growth.
McCarran International Airport released statistics Thursday that show traffic was up 2.6 percent last month compared to July 2015.
The number of people flying in and out of the airport so far this year is also up 5.2 percent compared to the first seven months of last year.
The overall numbers in July were also trending higher for both domestic and international flights.
The airport’s most dominate carrier, Southwest Airlines, however, saw a 2.7 percent decrease in the month-over-month passenger count.
The Dallas-based airline had 1.6 million passengers at McCarran last month, though its yearly total so far still shows gains for 2016.
