LAS VEGAS (KNXT) – An elderly man in possible need of medical attention who was the subject of a missing persons alert from Las Vegas authorities Tuesday was found dead in a Las Vegas park a few hours later, according to Las Vegas Metro Police officials.
The body of Harold Shields was located in All-American Park on South Buffalo Drive, a LVMPD statement reported.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office was expected to confirm what led to Shield’s death, but investigators said there were no outward signs of suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
Shields, 74, was last seen Monday evening. His medical condition prompted police to seek the public’s help in locating Shields.
