LAS VEGAS (AP) — A fire in downtown Las Vegas has damaged one building and led to a power outage.

Las Vegas fire crews say the small fire was reported around 2 p.m. Saturday in the area of 8th Street and Stewart Avenue.

They say the fire tore through a detached garage of a home and some power lines with one pole falling.

NV Energy turned off power in the area to do repairs.

According to the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, some traffic signals were also out.

But no injuries have been reported.

Authorities estimate the damages at $20,000.
