Arrest Made in Fatal Larry’s Villa Parking Lot Shooting

LAS VEGAS (KXNT) – Las Vegas police arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting death of a man found in a Las Vegas Strip strip club parking lot last week, according to police officials.

Kenneth Fletcher was taken into custody by detectives with the Criminal Apprehension team Tuesday at an apartment on the 2900 block of North Rainbow Boulevard, a Las Vegas Police statement reported.

Fletcher, 31, is believed to be the gunman who shot and killed Alxavier Lee Woods in the parking lot of Larry’s Villa on West Bonanza Road just before 5:30 a.m. on June 19.

Investigators said Woods, 40, was inside the club when he got into a confrontation with Fletcher. The argument moved into the club’s parking lot, where Fletcher allegedly pulled a gun and shot Woods several times.

Fletcher was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and faces one count of murder with a deadly weapon.
