LAS VEGAS (KXNT) – Authorities made two arrests Wednesday in connection with the possible drug-related killings of a man and a teen found shot to death inside their vehicle in central Las Vegas earlier this month, according to Las Vegas Metro Police officials.
Officers with the Criminal Apprehension Team arrested Anthony Martinez and Ocean Camacho without incident Wednesday, an LVMPD statement reported. Martinez, 18, and Camacho, 19, were booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a variety of charges, including two counts of murder.
Investigators determined Martinez and Camacho got into an altercation with Humberto Manual Ocegueda-Ramos and Joshua Nunez in the area of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Owens Avenue on June 1. Ocegueda-Ramos, 19, and Nunez, 17, left the area in their vehicle and were followed to the area of Mezpah Street and Washington Avenue, where they suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Both Oceguenda-Ramos and Nunez were pronounced dead at University Medical Center. Detectives believe the killings were narcotics-related.
