(Las Vegas, NV) — To vote in the next election, you have to be registered. The deadline to register for the November 4 General Election is Saturday, October 4, by mail, and Tuesday October 14, online at registertovotenevada.org or in person at the County clerk or registrar’s office.

The Nevada Secretary of State reports nearly 15-thousand Nevadans registered to vote in July, with more than half registering as non-partisan.

Of all registered voters in the state, 40 percent are Democrats, 35 percent Republicans, 18 percent nonpartisan, 5 percent members of the Independent American Party and the remaining 1.5 percent members of the Libertarian or other minor parties.
