(Las Vegas, NV) — North Las Vegas and Henderson constables will make less money next year.

Clark County commissioners have set pay for the two public officials at just over $103,000 a year.

Until now, the constables were able to set their own salaries.

According to a report in the “Review-Journal”, North Vegas Constable Herb Brown makes a quarter-million dollars a year, while Henderson’s Earl Mitchell earned about $180,000 last year.

The new salaries take effect in January.
