(LAS VEGAS, KXNT)–The Metro Police Narcotics Section is hoping to put a name to a face to find out who shipped a 7-pound parcel of pot from Vegas to Florida.

Police have released the photo of a person who they believe used a local parcel delivery store to send the package of marijuana to Orlando.

Police began investigating on June 20th, after receiving information about the package at a facility near Craig Road and Jones Boulevard.

A Metro news release describes the man in a surveillance video as a black male adult standing approximately between 5’10” and 6’0 tall, weighing approximately 240 pounds, with a muscular build, braided hair and wearing grey sweatpants and a burgundy shirt with a white logo on the front.

Police regard the man as a ‘person of interest’.

Anyone with any information regarding the identity and or whereabouts of this person of  interest is urged to contact the LVMPD Narcotics Section at 828-3461 or to remain anonymous contact or Crime Stoppers by phone at 385-5555.
