(Las Vegas) — Police say a juvenile was involved in a hit-and-run near a Las Vegas middle school.
Metro confirms a 14-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle just before 9:30 Tuesday morning. It happened near Leavitt Middle School, in the area of West Lone Mountain Road and North Buffalo Drive.
The vehicle, thought to be a green sedan, left the scene.
The girl was able to walk to school, where she was picked up by a parent.
