(Las Vegas, NV)  — A teenager accused of killing his older brother made his first appearance in a Las Vegas court Friday morning.

The judge ordered 15-year-old Turner Bronson to be held without bail in the Clark County Detention Center.

Clayton Bronson, 18, was found dead after police responded to a call just before 9 p.m. Thursday at a home on Arcadia Bluff Court, near Tenaya Way and Robindale Road.

Investigators say a verbal argument escalated into a physical confrontation that ended with a gunshot to the head.

Turner Bronson is being charged as an adult. His next appearance in court is June 23.
