(LAS VEGAS, CARSON CITY, KXNT)–The board that governors the Nevada Health Exchange has voted to fire Xerox, which has operated the plagued-system.

They will join the federal health exchange for one year beginning in November, and seek a new system based on a successful state system elsewhere.

Xerox has been under fire for repeated problems in starting up the Silver State Health Exchange, maintaining its web portal, and mishandling enrollments.

At one point, the health exchange extended the enrollment period for those who were stuck in the system, paying for policies that were not in effect.
