GEORGE NOORY IN LAS VEGAS: Get tickets now -- be there June 9!

(Carson City, NV) — A busy resort corridor west of the LasVegas Strip will get a closer look.

The state Transportation Board has approved a $1.1 million contract with a consulting firm, which will look at ways to reduce traffic congestion at the I-15 interchange with Tropicana Avenue.

The “Las Vegas Sun” says according to one board member, the area has become a “disaster” for drivers.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is helping to fund the study.
