(Las Vegas, NV) — A local math teacher who suffered personal setbacks found out how much support he has.
Perryn Hale was injured by a drunk driver, his wife fell ill, and her mother moved in with the couple when she lost her job.
The Roy Martin Middle School teacher still made time to mentor students and coach sports.
On Friday, Hale was presented with a brand new Chevy Sonic as part of National Teacher Appreciation Week. The car was courtesy of Findlay Chevrolet and Appreciation Financial
The 35-year-old Hale thanked his students and fellow staffers, before driving off in his new car.
