(Las Vegas, NV) — Every year, Las Vegas Advisor puts out an annual ticket price survey and price comparison.
The average price for a show is now $82.86, that’s up 2 dollars and 64 cents, but according to the Las Vegas Advisor, this year’s increase is due to different factors. The big shows usually creep up a bit in price, but the blame goes to the middle market market this time. MJ Live at the Rio is up $7, Divas at The Quad is up $9, Crazy Girls at the Riviera is up $10, Matt Goss at Caesars is up $11, and Country Superstars at the V is up $20.
New shows are also coming on at a higher price than in the past. The tickets prices that have stayed the same include big shows like Celine, David Copperfield, Donny & Marie, Human Nature, Jersey Boys, many Cirque shows too.
Las Vegas Advisor reports the only thing contributing to the increases on the high end are the new shows Mamma Mia! at The Tropicana and and Michael Jackson ONE at Mandalay Bay.
