(Las Vegas/KXNT) — Clark County School District Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky delivered his first State of the District address Monday morning at Del Sol High School.

During his 20-minute speech, Skorkowsky mainly talked about challenges facing the 316,000 students in CCSD, and unveiled his detailed “Pledge of Achievement” action plan.  It focuses on how to deploy budget and other resources for students in the school district.

Skorkowsky didn’t field questions, nor did he address recent incidents at schools in the district, such as a fight at O’Callaghan Middle School whicht sent a girl to the hospital.

The Superintendent also didn’t talk about bullying problems in schools, or the cheating scandal which saw three administrators put on leave last week.
