(Las Vegas, NV) — Today is the last day Nevadans can enroll for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

The deadline to sign up is midnight tonight, and a 60-day special enrollment period begins tomorrow for those who selected a plan on, but did not pay for it.

Website developer Xerox, which has been under fire for a shaky rollout of the state exchange, says it has made progress in fixing the site’s glitches.

Thousands of people took advantage of a health fair to sign up for insurance coverage over the weekend.

Organizers say Saturday’s event at Cashman Center drew more than 13,000 people, but many spent hours waiting for assistance to register on

As of Friday, 33,000 people had signed up for health insurance on the state’s exchange. That’s below the goal of 50,000 enrollees by today’s deadline.
