Vegas Native Part Of New Campaign

(Las Vegas, NV) — Las Vegas native and competitive snowboarder, Amy Purdy, lost both her legs when she was a teenager. She contracted bacterial meningitis at age 19. That didn’t stop her. She built her own prosthetics and got on the snowboard again. Purdy just won a bronze medal at the Paralympics in Russia. Now, she’s competing on this season’s Dancing With The Stars.

Purdy is part of a campaign called “What Defines You.” If you go to the website and share it, $1 will be donated to the paralympic committee.
