(Las Vegas, NV)  —  A phishing scam has struck a local group that helps domestic violence victims.

Safe Nest was told an e-mail sent in its name encouraged recipients to click a link and complete a form to contact someone in the group’s program.

Safe Nest says does not release the names of its clients.

The group’s website was not hacked and no client information was compromised.
