( North Las Vegas, NV ) – North Las Vegas Police have arrested a man in connection with a fatal stabbing earlier this week.

52-year-old William Robinson was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon at his home near Bruce and Carey, and  charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon. He was also booked on an outstanding misdemeanor traffic warrant.

A police statement says Robinson was allegedly visiting with the victim inside the victim’s apartment when they began arguing, which led to a physical confrontation with the victim stabbed multiple times.

Police say that when the victim’s roommate came home a few hours later, she found him dead on the floor of the apartment and called police.

The Clark County coroner has not yet released the name of the victim.
