LAS VEGAS (AP) — Slightly more passengers arrived and departed from McCarran International Airport this January compared with a year earlier.
Airport data released Wednesday shows that almost 3.3 million passengers used the Las Vegas airport last month, up 5.3 percent from January 2013.
The number of passengers flying domestically was up about 5 percent, while international traffic was up about 8 percent.
Total airport traffic increased by a half of percentage point over the course of 2013. McCarran ranks as the seventh-busiest airport nationally and 20th worldwide by passenger volume.
