( Las Vegas, NV ) – The 2nd suspect in the fire at a southwest valley pet shop is now back in Las Vegas.
27-year-old Kirk Bills was arrested almost two weeks ago in northwest Indiana and has been brought back to southern Nevada where he was booked into the Clark County Detention Center Wednesday night.
Bills is facing arson and animal cruelty charges in last month’s fire at the Prince and Princess pet store at Rainbow and the 215.
The store’s owner, 35-year-old Gloria Lee, has now been indicted by a grand jury, so her case has been moved to District Court.
Both Lee and Bills are reportedly seen on surveillance video from the pet store where he was pouring something from a gas can into the kennels where 27 puppies were being kept. They survived as the fire was put out by the building’s sprinkler system.
