LAS VEGAS (AP) — A Las Vegas man has been arrested in the death of his wife after turning himself in at the police station.
Police say Richard Magdayo Dahan walked into a station lobby on Friday afternoon, signed in and waited about 20 minutes before being called to the counter.
The 40-year-old Dahan told an employee he had just committed a crime by killing his wife.
Police went to his Las Vegas apartment unit and found a woman dead from apparent multiple stab wounds.
Detectives say the couple had been married for about two years and, while experiencing recent marital problems, had no known history of domestic violence.
Dahan was booked into the Clark County jail on one count of open murder with a deadly weapon.
His wife’s name wasn’t immediately released.
