LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Clark County coroner says it could take up to eight weeks for toxicology results in the death of a former county prosecutor whose body was found last week at her Henderson home.
Coroner Michael Murphy said Thursday that medical examiners didn’t immediately find a cause for Lisa Ann Willardson’s death Dec. 26.
Willardson’s body was found hours after a state judicial discipline commission ruled that her boyfriend, Clark County Family Court Judge Steven Jones, committed misconduct by presiding over her cases while they dated.
Jones’ lawyer, James M. Jimmerson, says Jones found the 45-year-old Willardson after returning from a trip to Utah with his children.
The Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline is due Jan. 27 to consider sanctions possibly including Jones’ removal from the bench in the misconduct case.
