Dogs Get Cold Too
(Las Vegas, NV) — Pet’s get cold too ! Our dogs and cats need extra care during this cold weather.
Veterinarian Debbie White of the Lone Mountain Animal Hospital tells the KXNT Morning News take some common sense precautions to keep your pets safe. Dogs , especially those with short hair may need sweaters when you take them outside and even booties.
Pay attention to outside water bowls, make sure the water hasn’t frozen. Dogs need plenty of food and water during these frigid times.
Dr. White says it may be best to keep the cats inside. If their left unattended outside they may crawl under the hood of a car or truck to keep warm.
