For the first time in over a decade the Rebels are eligible for the post-season after beating Air Force 41-21 in Colorado Springs on Thursday night.
Senior Running back Tim Cornett led the way for the Rebels, with career high 220 yards and four touchdowns. The Rebel’s all-time leading rusher crossed the 1,000-yard mark for the second consecutive season and notched his 16th career 100 plus yard game with his performance.
The win improves the Rebels record to 6-and-5 making them bowl eligible for the first time since 2000. The team wraps up the regular season with a home game next Saturday against San Diego State.
