(Las Vegas, NV) — There are two sides in the debate over online gaming.  Las Vegas casino owner Sheldon Adelson tells the Washington Post he’s against internet betting and wants Congress to ban it.  Internet poker is now legal in Nevada and two other states, to residents of those states. Adelson  tells the Post it runs against the industry’s business model.

More states are expected to try and legalize online gaming, while Adelson is planning to launch a campaign it against it’s expansion.

Meanwhile, a statement from the American Gaming Association  says the internet cannot be forced back into the bottle – nor can market demand. But the AGA says it needs to be strongly regulated.
