Las Vegas’ newest hotel casino officially opens Tuesday with an afternoon ribbon cutting. The old “Lady Luck” has turned into the “Downtown Grand.” The new hotel/casino’s CEO, Seth Schorr, says the property is unique and compliments downtown Las Vegas.
The hotel has 12 restaurants, but many of them are accessible from the street. He says you don’t have to walk through the casino to get something to eat.
This spring, they also have a place called PICNIC opening up. It’s a 35,000 square foot area on the roof with a place to put down a picnic blanket and basket. It also has a beer garden and pool.
Schorr says there is plenty of parking, and if you want to get your car from valet, you’ll be able to text.
