(Carson City, NV) — A political party that supports a smaller state government hopes to have a voice in Nevada.
The “Las Vegas Review-Journal” says a group of northern Nevada residents have filed with the secretary of state’s office to have the Constitution Party recognized in the Silver State.
They need to collect at least ten-thousand signatures to get the party’s candidates on the 2014 ballot.
The Constitution Party calls for cuts in government spending, lower taxes and term limits for federal elected officials.
Supporters hope to set up a branch in the Las Vegas Valley.
