( Las Vegas, NV ) – The storm system that brought scattered rain and cooler temps to Las Vegas, did much more than that over the Clark County mountains.
The Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard resort reported seven inches of fresh powder Wednesday night.
The resort is not planning on opening any time soon, but the last time the area experienced a similar significant early snowfall was in 2009. And back then the LVSSR opened on Oct. 7.
This year, the ski area is scheduled to open its 2013/14 season on Friday, Nov. 29. But they say they’re ready to open earlier – – if Mother Nature gives them the opportunity.weather permits.
There are more pictures from the snow storm and information about the resort on their website.
