( Las Vegas, NV ) Three young children remained in critical condition after a traffic accident early Friday at Bonanza and Lamb sent a pickup truck into a bus shelter.

Police say both drivers said they had a green light as they collided. Both were driving pickup trucks, one of which continued over a curb and into a the bus shelter where a man and two five-year olds and a two year old were with him.

The incident happened at about 5:30a.

Police do not believe alcohol or impairment was involved in the collision.

A spokeswoman for UMC told KXNT Friday afternoon that all three children remained in very critical condition in a pediatric trauma unit.

Metro Police Sgt.  Richard Strader told KXNT police were looking for any additional witnesses who can help in the investigation, and in particular the driver of a maroon colored vehicle who was driving at the scene at the time.
