Las Vegas CBS KXNT – The valley’s Latin American community will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month this weekend, at Fiesta de Las Vegas.
The celebration spotlights Latin American culture, starting with a parade Saturday morning at the Fremont Street Experience, organizer Rosio Ledesma told KXNT. The parade has 97 participants, the largest number in the event’s history. State Senator Reuben Kiheun will serve as grand marshal.
The weekend features a schedule of live entertainment and food, which Ledesma says is one of the most important features of the festival. The vendor booths will represent almost all of the Latin American cultures on the globe, she said.
All events are free.
