Recent Rain Sets Record

(Las Vegas, NV) — Sin City has become soaked city in recent weeks.

The National Weather Service says Las Vegas has seen at least a trace of precipitation at its McCarran Airport station on at least 17 days since August 18th.

The old record was eleven days.

The record may continue to increase. Rain fell in parts of the valley Sunday, and there’s a chance for more showers and thunderstorms through Wednesday.
