LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) — Marked for border protection?
Hollywood actor turned reserve sheriff’s deputy, Steven Seagal, dropped by the New Mexico Sheriffs’ Association Conference this week to talk about border security.
KVIA-TV reports that the action movie star says he wanted to share his knowledge about border security and often gives lectures on the subject.
Seagal was sworn in January as a reserve deputy sheriff for Dona Ana County in southern New Mexico. He also is a reserve deputy in Maricopa County in Arizona and holds credentials in Hudspeth County in Texas.
The 61-year-old most recently starred in the Reelz TV drama “True Justice” about an undercover police team in Seattle.
