(Las Vegas, Nevada) Man’s best friends don’t fancy fireworks. Pets face a risk of injury because of their own fears. Noise phobia can cause pets to run away, or even end up hit-by-car.

Veterinarians urge pet owners to keep their animals away from fireworks and provide a quiet  haven inside maybe with some soothing music. Don’t take your pooch to parades and fireworks displays. Here in Las Vegas there’s added danger , the triple digit temperatures threaten your pets well being.

The best way to prevent noise phobia is to keep your animal away from the noise. If your pet becomes anxious, don’t reward the fearful behavior by petting or with additional treats.  Just keep the surroundings as calm as possible.
