OSHA Investigates Death Of Cirque Performer
(Las Vegas, NV) — Inspectors from Nevada’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration are looking into the death of a Cirque du Soleil performer on the Las Vegas Strip.
Thirty-one year-old Sarah Guyard-Guillot was performing in the final scene of “Ka” at the MGM Grand on Saturday night, when witnesses say she fell 50 feet into a pit below the stage.
It’s not known how long the investigation will take.
“Ka” remains dark until at least July 9th.
