LAS VEGAS (AP) — Two men have been charged in the April slaying of a 37-year-old man whose body was found along a street northwest of downtown Las Vegas.

Eric Orduna and Jonathan Reyes have been charged with murder, robbery and kidnapping in the death of Abraham Mathews.

Reyes is being held without bail in the Clark County Detention Center after being arrested Thursday. Orduna remains at-large.

Mathews had been missing for several days before his body was found April 10.

A witness told police that he saw Mathews being kicked, punched and beaten by two men who were trying to force him to sign a Western Union money order to take his money.

A second witness told police that Orduna believed Mathews owed him money for drugs.
