(Las Vegas, NV) — One Clark County School District student will celebrate the end of high school with a new car or $10,000 scholarship through the annual “Drive for Excellence” program.

The high school seniors who qualify for the grand prize of choice maintained a weighted grade-point average of 3.7 or higher and an attendance record with zero unexcused or unverified absences.

More than 600 students are eligible for the grand prize as well as laptops, cameras, gift cards, scholarships and more. The celebration culminates with one lucky student drawn from eligible attendees to win a scholarship or car. If the winner wants wheels, he or she can drive off in a Scion xB, Honda Fit, VW Golf, Toyota Yaris or Nissan Versa, courtesy of Desert Automotive Group.

CCSD School-Community Partnership Program coordinates Drive for Excellence with support from CBS Radio and other partners.

The event will be Tuesday, June 4th, at the Orleans Hotel and Casino.
