SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police say a man killed in a Salt Lake City motorcycle crash was riding a stolen bullet bike.
Salt Lake City Police Lt. Josh Scharman says the motorcycle was heading south on West Temple when it hit a car about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities believe the rider, who was in his 40s, was speeding at the time of the collision. His name hasn’t yet been made public.
Officials say the black bullet bike he was riding had been reported missing to Unified police earlier Wednesday.
The two people in the car the motorcycle hit were not injured, but their vehicle has significant damage.
