(Las Vegas, NV)  —  A group of local World War Two veterans are back from visiting memorials in Washington D.C.

Nearly three-dozen ex-soldiers were greeted by families and friends at McCarran Airport Sunday.

The non-profit group Honor Flight helped the aging veterans visit the nation’s capital and view monuments in their honor.

Southwest Airlines donated tickets for the flight, which took off from Las Vegas on Friday.
