(Reno, NV) — The drama surrounding Nevada Assemblyman Steven Brooks continues.
Brooks told police his rented Buick was stolen outside a Sparks apartment complex on Monday night.
Sparks police tell KOLO-TV they have arrested Adriane McFadden, an acquaintance of Brooks’ on suspicion of vehicle theft. McFadden was inside the car when it was recovered.
It’s the latest incident for Brooks, who has been arrested twice, denied a gun purchase, removed from the Democratic Caucus, fired from his job with the City of Las Vegas. He remains on leave from the Assembly.
