(Las Vegas, NV) — Clark County commissioners will move forward with a vote on whether to abolish the Las Vegas constable’s office.
A judge has denied a restraining order to prevent the issue from being considered at today’s meeting.
Constable John Bonaventura claimed the move was unconstitutional.
Bonaventura has been under fire for a number of controversies in his office, including lawsuits against other jurisdictions, and allegations of sexual harassment.
