Las Vegas – The Runnin’ Rebels survived a barrage of three pointers and a ten-point second-half deficit, to win their 14th straight home game, 68-64, over Boise State.
Boise State was on fire in the first half, shooting 6-for-12 from beyond the arc. The Broncos finished the game 13-for-25 from three-point range.
Anthony Marshall and Bryce Dejean-Jones each scored 16 points to lead the Rebels. Katin Reinhardt and Anthony Bennett added 11 apiece for UNLV (23-7, 10-5 Mountain West).
The Rebels won their fifth straight and can clinch the second seed in next week’s conference tournament with a win over Fresno State on Saturday.
