Las Vegas – Former UNLV standout linebacker John Lotulelei was a top performer in two different events as his position during his workout at this year’s NFL Combine.

Working out at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Lotulelei ranked second among 16 linebackers in the 3-cone drill and fourth out of 20 in the vertical jump. He also was sixth out of 26 in the bench press with 25 reps of 225 pounds.

Lotulelei was named First Team All-Mountain West and UNLV Defensive Most Valuable Player for 2012, his total of 120 tackles was the 10th-highest in the school’s single-season history.
