(Carson City, NV) — Nevada has returned $25 million to their rightful owners this past year.
Some of that money belongs to elected members of the state Legislature.
Assembly Speaker Marilyn Kirkpatrick discovered at a hearing yesterday she had $5 in the account. Three other legislators also had unclaimed property of up to $200 each.
State Treasurer Kate Marshall says if you think you have unclaimed property, visit the state’s website.
