LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a man and a woman who were found dead in a Las Vegas apartment over the weekend had reported a threatening encounter with her ex-boyfriend about two hours earlier.
Clark County coroner’s officials say 40-year-old Donnie Deon Cobb was found dead about 9 a.m. Sunday at the Bonita Terrace Apartments on Paradise Road near Sahara Avenue. A police report identifies his slain girlfriend as 37-year-old Danielle Woods.
Authorities say Woods called police earlier that morning to say she was confronted by her ex-boyfriend, who was angry she was living with Cobb.
Woods reported the ex-boyfriend had pulled out a gun and promised to be back.
Authorities later found the door kicked in and the couple dead.
Fifty-seven-year-old Keith Junior Barlow has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
