(Washington, DC) — Senator Dean Heller says if there’s a deal to avoid the “fiscal cliff,” he would consider raising taxes on the wealthy.
The Nevada Republican tells the “Las Vegas Sun” he believes there’s a “deal to be had” if Democrats support letting the Bush-era tax cuts expire for all except those who make over $400,000 a year.
Heller also believes spending cuts should be “off the table” until “a couple of months down the road.”
